Return of The
CLH Hockey Classic!
More than anything, the return of the CLH Hockey Classic to the Olive St parking lot on May 17 signalled a return to
something more like “old times”, with the CPS Snipers lined up against the CLH Mighty Pucks. Presided over by MC Dave
Sibley, refs Dean Johnson and Damian Gordon, led by Bruce Wilcox in a rousing version of Oh Canada, and overseen by
cheering crowds of GBDSS students and the entire CLH community, it was a great day, a great game and great cause
for celebration. Afterwards, once the Champions’ Trophy (and bragging rights) had been presented to the winning team,
everyone enjoyed lunch, pleased as can be to be back together again.
