Dillon’s Golf Tournament
Ricky Dillon and Jim Christie teamed up this fall to organize the first-ever Dillon’s Golf
Tournament in support of CLH Foundation. Blessed by generous friends and golfers, a
fantastic prize table, excellent volunteers, and a beautiful day at the Midland Country Club,
Ricky, Jimmy and friends raised $7,000 for CLHF. A most welcome and wonderful gift from
some of our most loyal supporters. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

CLHF Day at Harvey’s Midland

The CLH community and Harvey’s Midland are made for each other! Early in October,
Harvey’s Midland owner Ken King and his team hosted a CLH Foundation Day at their
Highway 93 restaurant, with a portion of the day’s sales being donated back to CLH. The
CLH community stepped up to the counter with great enthusiasm, resulting in a wonderful
donation from Harvey’s Midland of $925.

LeClair Cremation Services
We persuaded Melody Somerville and Don MacDonald to pose for a photo in recognition
of LeClair Cremation Services ongoing support of CLH Foundation initiatives each year. As
annual donors to A Red Carpet Evening and sponsors of Walk This Way, this local business
makes a positive impact with their generous support.

Mike and Sarah Thor + Thor Wealth Management Group
Donors with impact! We’re pleased to highlight the contributions of Sarah and Mike Thor,
whose annual personal donation to CLH Foundation was matched by a donation from TD.
This is in addition to Thor Wealth’s annual sponsorship of CLHF initiatives such as A Red
Carpet Evening. Thank you for your leadership support.

Raytheon ELCAN + Employee Giving

A terrific initiative by Raytheon ELCAN to support employee-chosen charities on Giving
Tuesday resulted in a most wonderful gift! Rachelle Cowan was the winner of Raytheon’s
Giving Tuesday draw, one of three employees who won the opportunity to choose a local
charity to receive a $1,000 (U.S.) donation in their name. Rachelle immediately directed the
donation to CLH Foundation – a most thoughtful gift which means so much! Thank you,
Rachelle! And thank you also to Raytheon, for their community commitment and vision.

Giving Tuesday Donors Raise $21,000
Your generous response to Giving Tuesday will bring plentiful opportunities for CLH-
supported individuals to connect, engage and thrive! As donations came in through the
day, we were reminded once again that our North Simcoe community is an exceptional
one; we are grateful to live and work alongside you. A special thank you to longtime donors
Judith and Robin Green, whose leadership gift – and additional $5,000 matching gift! –
launched the day with a tremendous boost.
