Colleen, affectionately known as CKB, found this welcoming sign
adorning the wall of her new office when she arrived in January.

At the household level, people with developmental disabilities and their families have been overwhelmed by the
skyrocketing cost of living. They are losing ground in the competition for qualified staff, and too often losing out as workers
move into the education, health care, and long-term care sectors. Every day, families face crises due to inadequate financial
        and social resources.

What are you most excited about as you begin your role as Executive Director?
CLH has always been home to me, I literally grew up here with many of the individuals and staff who remain with CLH
today. I am really excited to have the opportunity to continue to grow and learn with the agency, and to bring some
stability and familiarity. I am happy to help move the agency forward in all aspects and continue the good work that all
the staff here do every day.

What would you say are CLH DSS greatest strength?
It has always been the staff who work here, and the passion and talents they bring to their work.

Come meet Colleen! You’ll find her at literally every CLH Foundation event, usually on the
Registration Desk: she never gave up her role as one of our best CLHF volunteers!
