You walked, you rolled, you strolled, and together, you made the 2nd annual Walk This Way for CLH a wonderful success!
On a beautiful day for a walk in Penetanguishene’s Rotary Champlain Wendat Park, the CLH community of families, friends, supporters, volunteers, donors and sponsors came together in support of Commitment to Care, the CLH Foundation initiative to fully cover the costs of essential and critically needed (but unfunded) medical and personal health essentials for adults who live in CLH’s Supported Living Homes. CLH Developmental Support Services is unique in its commitment to covering these costs on behalf of its supported individuals, and in the face of ever-rising prices and changes in funding, CLH Foundation has taken responsibility for ensuring this practice continues.
The 2nd annual Walk This Way event raised over $25,700! Thank you for helping to ensure our supported community remains in good health and continues to thrive!

Sarah’s involvement with CLH Foundation began in 2016 when she joined the Red Carpet Evening Event Committee. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2017, and that year was awarded with the Joyce Hamelin Volunteer of the Year Award. Sarah went on to serve as Vice-President, and finished her term as Board President in 2026.
Throughout her time with the Foundation, Sarah has been particularly committed to strengthening opportunities and supports for people served by CLH Developmental Support Services. Her leadership has contributed to the growth of many initiatives, as well as major fundraising and capital projects.
Sarah is the owner of One Stop Beauty Shop, where she works full-time with her aesthetic clientele while managing a successful local business and team.
